Join us for our Drum Birthing Event this May!
Participants will experience the joy of constructing their very own Native American style drum made by their own hands while in fellowship with other men. Together we’ll participate in deep conversations. Through sharing our stories and listening to the experiences of other men, we will learn from one another.
Men prepare the elk skin for the drum heads.
Drums will be constructed with elk skin using traditional methods. Each and every drum is unique and will have its own sound, its own voice just waiting to be heard. This world is yearning for men to speak with their own voices and through their own experiences from the life that is gifted by the Creator of the Universe. This planet is waiting for men to heal; men who can hear the cry of the Soul of others, and who walk the earth with love, kindness, and respect.
Our event will be facilitated by Brad Kuluris, an Illuman Wisdom Elder from Phoenix, Arizona. Brad draws upon ancestral wisdom of the natural world, as well as the teachings of indigenous peoples, cultures, and religions from around the globe. Brad weaves all of this together in the creation of a musical instrument.
The Jabez Retreat Center is located in the beautiful landscape of northern Missouri. Fully equipped for a meaningful and comfortable experience. Lodging and all meals are provided, including a steak dinner on Saturday evening.

Event Registration
About the Fee
The registration fee for our drum birthing retreat is $275. There is only room for 16 men. Your registration is not confirmed until you receive a phone call from from us.
Cancellation
Requests for the refund of your deposit must be made 10 days prior to the event or earlier. No refunds will be given inside of 10 days before May 3, 2024.
Special Requests
We will do our best to accommodate any special requests or needs, but we can make no guarantees. Again, if you have any questions, please contact Dan Robidoux before completing your registration.
